WOW! Only one word is needed to describe the Wise Articles website. Talk about a wealth of information on a variety of topics, including some of the most “googled†terms - from Arts and Entertainment to Health and Fitness to Business and beyond. It offers a one-stop location for many people to open their minds and share their knowledge on topics of their own interest. Their site description, “Your source for quality original and unique articles†stands true as you review the many diverse articles listed within each sub-category.
Within each header topic, you will find sub-categories to pinpoint your exact interest or need. For all writers out there, under header topic Writing and Speaking, there is an excellent tips article for writer’s block, under subcategory Article Writing - something all writers have experienced at some point!
Obscured to the right of the page, between advertising blocks, you will find additional links for Submission Guidelines, Top Authors, Most Popular Articles, etc. For easier access by the user, the Wise Articles Home page could be better formatted to clearly show these additional links to their site.
As with all information posted on the internet, one must use the information provided with a grain of salt and continue to add more research regarding the interest or need. For example, under Health and Fitness, an article presented by author Knut Holt provides information on Diabetes Mellitus Type 1. This is informative, however, there are no footnotes to advise the reader where this information has originated from and whether it came from a medical professional or journal. As stated in Knut Holt’s biography, he is an internet consultant and marketer on health issues, but does not give any further credentials. Therefore, one must take this information and research its own standing - the price we pay for so much information at our fingertips. It would be helpful if the writers would include footnoted material used in their articles.
At this time, several subcategories have room to grow in size, giving more writers a chance to voice their opinion. This is definitely a site to keep an eye on for future reference when a problem or uncertainty arises, as it may just include an article or more on what you are looking for.
